Romans 12: 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

I love this verse. God literally gave us the blueprint on how to achieve anything we want in life.
I used to think that manifestation was new age and selfish.
I used to think that Christians should not be wealthy or well off.
I used to think that you had to wait until you die and get to heaven to have a good life.
A good life was not possible here on earth. You had to wait for all the promises of God to become realized once you left the realm of the earth. God challenged my beliefs a couple of months ago. He brought back into remembrance a time when an old friend of mine told me that she sees that God wants to do many great things in my life, but I was blocking His blessings.
At the time, I was going through inner turmoil and became so offended by her words. I could not understand what she meant by "I was blocking God’s blessings." Fast forward years later, and now I began to realize as clear as day what she meant. My limited beliefs were blocking God‘s blessings. I was projecting feelings about my natural parents onto God, which did not allow me to walk in rhythm with him. These were feelings, such as abandonment, scarcity, fear, abuse, shame, and rejection.Â
If you have any father wounds, think about the similarities between how you think about your natural father and how you think about God. Do you see any connections?
You can also project your mother wounds onto God. Below are the results of projected feelings about your mother being pushed onto God:
Blocks in your creativity and flow
Blocks in your purpose
Blocks in your identity
Blocks in fulfillment
Blocks in growth and new ideas
This can result from receiving the below from your mother:
Abuse and abandonment
No validation and no comfort
No care, no concern, and no nourishment.
It caps your growth, confidence, and trust, especially in God. This can lead to low self-esteem, self-doubt, no boundaries, and no self-respect.
You will have to repair these wounds to reprogram your mind and remove the limited beliefs and blocks. Without this, you will not be able to move forward in your purpose and in restructuring your identity in Christ.
You have to think of God as your parent now. You’ll start to have a healthier relationship with God once you heal your mother and father wounds.
This is the beginning to reprogram your mind so you can discern the will of God, which is good, pleasing, and perfect.
